Common Questions

What type of fabrics are used to make a quilt?
Unless specified otherwise all of my quilts are made of 100% cotton fabric and 100% cotton batting.
How should I wash a quilt?
Wash in cool water, tumble dry low, or air dry.
What size quilt should I pick?
The size quilt you pick will depend on what you are using the quilt for. Is it a bed quilt? Is it a wheelchair quilt or a crib quilt? Is the quilt for a infant, youth, adult or a grandparent?

Can I buy a gift certificate?
Absolutely yes Gift Certificates are available.

 

How safe are your baby and children's quilts?
I make baby and young children’s quilts with cotton fabrics.

My Quilts
My handmade quilts, wall art, pillow covers & soft toys are for any age group. For infant, youth, adult and our grandparents too.

Unless stated otherwise, I make quilts using 100% cotton fabrics & batting. You can also special order quilts made from 100% organic cotton.

When you select “Proceed to Check Out” there is an option to include “Additional Information” with your order where you can request a quote for organic cotton fabrics.

Policy for CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS:

 

I gladly accept cancellations:

Request a cancellation of your order within 24 hours of purchase by email t kathy@sewingstudiollc.com.

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

All Customized or Personalized orders.

 

Conditions of Returning Product:

If for any reason you are not satisfied with a handmade product from my store it must be shipped back to me within 3 business days of the delivery date on the tracking number. Sewing Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen or shipping damages.

Buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any or all loss in value.

How to Return Product:

1. Package the item securely with all of the contents that came with your purchase.

2. Place the return shipping label, provided for you in your original order, on the outside of your package.

3. Return your package to your nearest USPS location and purchase postage with tracking.

4. Email the tracking number to kathy@sewingstudiollc.com  on the same day you ship your package or your return can not be validated.

5. Once the item is received  (must have been shipped within 3 business days of your receipt of product) and the product condition is inspected, you will receive an email describing the condition of the returned product and the amount and date of the refund that will be issued to you within 3-5 business days.
